Kateri Tekakwitha was a women who was baptized when she was a teenager and went to the new Christian colony of Indians in Canada. Here she lived a life dedicated to prayer, penitential practices, and care for the sick and aged. Every morning even in the winter time, she went to the chapel door intil it opened. My thoughts about Kateri Tekakwitha is that she was a women who cometed to god by going to the chapel and praying every day until the mass had ended. I think that our priest father peter showed be a saint because he speads the word of the lord and teaches us how to be more like god. This is why i think father peter showed by a saint.
ReplyDeleteKateri Tekakwitha was the daughter of a mohawk warrior. she went to the christian colony of indians in canada. every day she stood there at the chaple door and waited there until the last mass was done. she was known as "lilly of the hawks". she was comited to going to church everyday and praying to god. i think that pope benidect should be a saint i think this because he tot us to belive in God and pray for him. he tot us that it is very important to love our God and try our hardest not to sin.
